These two rooms were quite comfortable with a gentle breeze going through in summer and fires in the two fireplaces in the winter. These parlors were also part of the original building (c. 1720) and were the north end of the Inn before the large ballroom was added in 1917 after the building ceased to function as an Inn/Hotel. Community groups still play cards in these rooms on weekdays, reflecting the habits of 100 years ago when guests sat in these rooms and enjoyed a game of cards and conversation about the differences between
city and rural life.
